Job summary

ON Semiconductor in Malaysia is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to perform detailed failure investigations and root cause analyses on discrete, analog, and power module products. You will support requests from EFAR, Reliability teams, NPD, and Production.

Using electrical characterization, physical inspection, cross-sectioning, SEM/EDX and other tools, you will identify failure mechanisms and provide actionable insights to improve yield and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in failure analysis methodologies.
• Ability to document findings in technical reports.
• Experience communicating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed failure investigations on discrete, analog, and power module products.
• Identify root causes and suggest corrective actions.
