Job summary

Safepeak Technology is seeking a seasoned Factory Construction and Operations Manager in Malaysia. You will supervise renovation and office decoration, coordinate with the engineering team, and manage compliance, HR, and administrative functions to ensure smooth factory startup and ongoing operations.

The role requires 5–8 years in factory operations or production leadership, fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in HR, business management, marketing or related fields.
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience; strong management skills.
• Familiar with the Labour and Industrial Relations Act and safety/quality standards.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay for communication with authorities and head office.
• Own a vehicle and valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise factory renovation, decoration, and expansion; coordinate with engineering team for installation progress and quality.
• Manage compliance certificates and permits to ensure timely processing and operation readiness.
• Establish relationships with local governments; monitor policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, payroll, labour relations.
• Oversee admin: logistics, fixed assets, safety, environment, reception and processes.
• Coordinate procurement; screen suppliers; control costs and mitigate supply risks.
• Maintain current and potential customer relationships; report production progress to customers.
• Align inter-department work and handle ad hoc tasks from the company.
