Job summary

SB Tape Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Maintenance cum Factory Resource Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly.

You will support daily factory operations, identify root causes of issues, and coordinate with engineers and contractors while maintaining spares and tools. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic or related field.
• 1–3 years in maintenance, engineering or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance, routine inspection and servicing of production machinery and facilities.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot machinery problems and take corrective actions.
• Identify root causes of breakdowns and prevent recurrence.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns and provide technical support to Production.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Monitor spare parts, tools, consumables and factory resources.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and tooling usage.
• Suggest improvements to equipment performance and reliability.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures; provide guidance to operators.
• Support continuous improvement projects related to machinery and facilities.
