Job summary

Nexperia Malaysia is seeking a senior Data Scientist/AI Engineer to design, deploy and maintain AI and ML solutions for complex manufacturing challenges. You will work with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to identify data-driven improvements and optimize processes using a data lake platform.

The role requires 7-10 years of data analytics experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and expertise in AI/ML and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with Electronics or Computer Science background.
• 7-10 years in data analytics/data science and industrial data platforms.
• Experience with Agentic AI platforms and large IT projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand manufacturing processes and data availability to drive improvements.
• Design, deploy and maintain AI/ML solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Build and optimize AI models for performance and scalability.
