Job summary

Nexperia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Graduate Engineer specializing in electronics or computer science to lead data analytics and AI initiatives across manufacturing. You will scope problems, build scalable AI/ML solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive KPI improvements and operational efficiency.

Experience with data lakes, big data tooling, and multilingual data pipelines is preferred, with a focus on scalable analytics within factory environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with electronics or CS background.
• 7–10 years of experience in data analytics and data science.
• Experience with Agentic AI platforms and large data lake architectures.
• Experience in IT projects related to Supply Chain, factory scheduling, or big data environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand factories, processes, data availability and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality to solve problems using data in the data lake.
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain AI/ML solutions addressing manufacturing challenges.
• Build, train, evaluate and optimize AI/ML models for performance and accuracy.
• Develop Agentic AI solutions, AI assistants and intelligent automation to improve efficiency.
• Identify data needs and extraction processes to improve KPIs and data delivery.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to meet required business objectives.
• Deploy, monitor and iterate on solutions; work with data architects and modeling teams across sites.
