Zusammenfassung

Bosch Malaysia seeks an experienced facilities engineer to manage and improve mechanical systems across our Penang sites. You will ensure safe, compliant, and reliable LN2, compressed air and vacuum services, supporting manufacturing and business objectives.

You will lead projects, coordinate with contractors, and drive energy efficiency and cost optimization while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. A strong engineering background and hands‑on maintenance experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in facility engineering, preferably supporting manufacturing or semiconductor facilities.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in LN₂, compressed air and vacuum systems, including operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Own the performance, reliability, capacity, and uptime of facility mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Lead mechanical projects from planning through execution, commissioning and handover, delivering quality, cost and schedule objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Bosch standards, safety requirements and local regulatory obligations.
• Develop and maintain mechanical system standards, SOPs, preventive maintenance strategies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting support, and competency development for facility teams and stakeholders.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, consultants, and service providers to ensure safe project execution.
• Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost optimization across facility systems.
• Oversee spare parts management, capacity planning, lifecycle management and budget forecasting.
