Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support repairs under supervision while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical and electrical systems, reviewing work orders, and updating records. The role emphasizes efficient operation, adherence to procedures, and clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision.
