Job summary

NongGengji Hunan cuisine in Malaysia is hiring a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair essential restaurant equipment and infrastructure. You will handle electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, respond to maintenance requests, and work with restaurant staff to keep operations smooth.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance planning, and the ability to travel or be stationed out of town as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to travel or work outstation as required.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of facilities including electrical systems, plumbing, refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Repair and maintenance of ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers and other appliances.
• Implement preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety and fire regulations.
• Address minor plumbing and electrical issues and respond to urgent requests.
