Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Management Trainee with a degree in Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You will support operations across building maintenance, preventive maintenance and life-cycle planning, coordinating contractors and ensuring safety and service standards.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for trainee roles; the program offers hands-on exposure to BAS, site management and operational improvements in a dynamic property environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of facilities management or related experience.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, malls or commercial properties preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and respond to operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce SOPs, ISO standards and best practices for site operations.
• Develop and monitor a facility management and preventive maintenance program.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and maintain documentation for compliance.
• Oversee security, cleaning, food court operations, waste management and related services.
• Coordinate contractors and maintenance activities per standards and timelines.
• Assist with project updates, progress reports and client communications.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and issues with timely resolutions.
• Liaise with clients on project and facility matters and prepare reports.
• Identify opportunities for service quality and cost efficiency improvements.
• Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
