Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Management Technician to oversee day-to-day data centre operations, coordinate maintenance, change management, and incident response to maintain compliant, resilient infrastructure performance.

The role focuses on compliant, resilient infrastructure performance, reviewing MOPs and SOPs, and providing regular updates on facility activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance activities and coordinate change implementation across data centers
• Provide onsite support during scheduled maintenance windows
• Review and validate MOPs, Risk Assessments, and SOPs
• Manage vendor change requests through the internal change management process
• Consolidate maintenance schedules and monitor change records
• Support risk-based approvals and escalations, including CAB reviews
• Respond to facility incidents and alarms by verifying affected areas and coordinating with providers
• Ensure emergency procedures are activated where required
• Maintain accurate maintenance, change, and audit records
• Provide regular operational updates on facility activities, support requests, and performance
