Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Data Centre Technician (Tier 2) to oversee day-to-day data centre facility operations. You will coordinate maintenance activities, manage change implementation, and respond to incidents to ensure compliant and resilient infrastructure performance.

You will review technical documents, support CAB reviews, and maintain accurate records while providing regular updates on activities and performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant onsite experience in data center operations, facilities support, or a similar environment.
• Ability to complete a tailored training plan related to the role.
• Working knowledge of data center infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, monitoring).
• Strong communication skills to provide updates, elevate issues, and work within structured maintenance and incident processes.
• Familiarity with incident management, change management, and risk-based review of vendor maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance activities and coordinate change implementation across data centers

• Ensure emergency procedures are activated where required
