Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a technically proficient Facilities Technician to lead a team and ensure the continued operation of building services in Bukit Mertajam, Malaysia. The role covers preventive maintenance, safety checks, and supervision of contractors to meet client standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Chargeman A4 certificate, have 5–10 years of facilities experience, and be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Chargeman A4 certificate issued by the Energy Commission.
• 5–10 years of facilities management or building operations experience.
• Customer oriented with teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, willing to work shifts and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of Technicians to maintain building services and facilities equipment.
• Carry out repairs and planned preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Monitor third party contractors and ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform routine checks in line with Health and Safety policy.
• Maintain stores and plant rooms for tidiness and safe access.
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor contractors, troubleshoot minor issues.
• Oversee fire life safety system operations and related equipment.
