Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Facilities I&C engineer in Penang to support instrumentation and control across a state-of-the-art electronics facility and on-site Data Center. You will manage sensors, controllers, and monitoring systems, ensuring reliability for HVAC, utilities, and environmental systems.

The role requires 2+ years in facilities I&C within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing, with hands-on experience in BMS/EMS/SCADA and PLC/DCS.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of relevant facilities I&C engineering experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of BMS/EMS/SCADA and PLC/DCS systems.
Familiarity with calibration standards, control loop tuning, and process automation best practices.

Responsibilities

Manage operation, calibration, and maintenance of facility instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, meters, controllers, analysers).
Oversee and optimize BMS, EMS, and SCADA platforms for real-time monitoring and control.
Ensure integration of instrumentation for HVAC, utilities, and cleanroom environments.
Develop and implement SOPs and performance measures for reliability and efficiency.
Conduct feasibility, cost, and thermal analyses; perform Testing & Commissioning experiments.
