Job summary

JLL in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Facilities I&C Engineer to support instrumentation and control systems across our electronic manufacturing facility and on-site Data Center. You will ensure sensor accuracy and reliable operation of HVAC, utilities, and environmental monitoring.

Responsibilities include calibration and maintenance of sensors, oversight of BMS/EMS/SCADA, coordinating with vendors, developing SOPs, testing and commissioning, and driving improvements in energy efficiency and system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2+ years of relevant experience in facilities I&C in high-tech environments.
Experience with BMS/EMS/SCADA and PLC/DCS systems.

Responsibilities

Manage operation, calibration, and maintenance of facility instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, meters, controllers).
Oversee and optimize BMS/EMS/SCADA for real-time monitoring and control.
Interface with vendors and internal teams for upgrades, retrofits and commissioning.
Develop SOPs and performance measures to ensure reliability and accuracy of systems.
Plan and conduct Testing and Commissioning, and other simulations.
Maintain documentation: diagrams, calibration records, maintenance logs.
