Job summary

Sunway Marketing Sdn Bhd – Sunway, Selangor is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee facilities operations, maintenance, and fire safety management. You will serve as the Fire Safety Manager, ensuring compliance with the Fire Services Act 1988 and OSH Act 2022, and will develop preventive programs and emergency response procedures.

Requirements include a Diploma in Fire Safety Management or Engineering with 5 years’ experience, strong FM knowledge, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Fire Safety Management or Engineering with 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management, building services and maintenance operations.
• Solid understanding of M&E systems and fire protection systems.
• Competent in FSM Level 1 or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities and fire safety systems.
• Act as Fire Safety Manager and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop preventive maintenance programmes and emergency procedures.
• Plan and monitor maintenance for buildings, M&E systems, utilities and fire protection.
• Manage contractors, vendors, budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and safety performance.
• Conduct inspections, audits, drills, and root-cause analyses of incidents.
• Prepare management reports and monitor KPIs for facilities and safety.
