Job summary

Penguin Solutions Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support daily operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. You will respond to breakdowns, monitor solar PV performance, and help drive energy management initiatives with contractors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires an engineering degree, AO Chargeman certification, and 2–3 years of facilities experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum Chargeman AO certification.
• 2–3 years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematic drawings and troubleshoot effectively.
• Safety-minded, proactive problem solving with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation and maintenance of M&E systems.
• Attend to and resolve M&E breakdowns promptly.
• Monitor solar PV systems for optimal performance.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and audit records.
• Coordinate contractors for repair and maintenance works.
