A manufacturing company in Malacca is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain key operational systems, including HVAC and electrical. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, ideally within GMP environments. Responsibilities also include supervising contractors, supporting new projects, and training technicians. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Patrolling daily to ensure routine maintenance records, inspection checklist, and logbooks are in compliance.
To oversee work schedule for technicians and contractors to ensure meet target delivery schedule and meet the requirements.
To supervise and verify work done by contractors to ensure the work quality and 5S is performed after work completed.
To check and reply internal customer highlighted issue and update the status whenever the issue is close.
To support and assist for new project, renovation project and prepare the necessary documents such as reports, proposal, schedule, validation documents, protocol, standard operating procedure and checklist.
To prepare CAD drawing and update drawing as per specification and As-Built condition.
To assist for troubleshooting problem of equipment, system and identify the root cause, risk and propose solutions for the issue.
To monitor and update equipment, sensor, testing instruments calibration schedule and arrange service provider to perform the calibration follow planned schedule.
To monitor and update the recertification schedule for cleanroom performance testing (CPT), compressed dry air performance testing and premise inspection and arrange service provider perform the activities follow planned schedule.
To monitor on inventory stock for spare-part and consumable for maintenance purpose.
To assist for provide training to technician, prepare training material and monitor training plan.
To report upwards for any abnormal conditions / deviation / non-conformances in timely manner.
Any other reasonable duties or project work which may be required by management from time to time.
A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent by accredited institutional or universities.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the field of plant facilities maintenance and preferably to have knowledge or experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Basic knowledge in EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) regulations and practices.
Able to prepare CAD drawing and update as per specification and As-Built condition.
Good in Microsoft office skills such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Good in English and Malay writing and communication skills.
