Job summary

Pleasant Day Enterprise in Kuala Lumpur is seeking friendly, energetic Service Crew Members to join our cafe team. You will greet customers, take orders at the counter, operate the POS, prepare Korean bingsu and drinks, and keep the cafe clean and welcoming.

Entry-level applicants and students are welcome; full training is provided. You will work part-time shifts, including nights until 12am, with staff discounts and on-the-job food safety training. A fast-paced, team-focused environment awaits.

• Experience in food & beverage, retail, or customer service is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and take orders at the counter
• Handle cash, credit card, and e-wallet transactions accurately using the POS system
• Answer basic questions about menu items, ingredients, and offers
• Prepare and assemble Korean bingsu (shaved ice) desserts following standard recipes
• Craft handcrafted teas and seasonal drinks
• Ensure all food and beverages are prepared hygienically and served promptly
• Perform basic daily cleaning tasks including clearing tables and cleaning dining areas
• Sanitize counters, prep surfaces and equipment regularly
• Wash dishes, prep tools and blenders throughout the shift
• Keep service areas stocked with essentials (straws, napkins, packaging)

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Service Crew Members to join our cafe team. In this role, you will be the face of our shop, delivering great customer service, preparing delicious Korean bingsu (shaved ice) desserts, crafting drinks, and keeping our cafe clean and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

Welcome customers warmheartedly and take orders at the counter

Handle cash, credit card, and e-wallet transactions accurately using the POS system

Answer basic questions about our menu items, ingredients, and special offers

Prepare and assemble Korean bingsu (shaved ice desserts) following standard recipes and presentation guidelines

Craft handcrafted teas and seasonal drinks

Ensure all food and beverages are prepared hygienically and served promptly

Perform basic daily cleaning tasks, including clearing tables, sweeping, and mopping dining areas

Sanitize counters, kitchen prep surfaces, and food preparation equipment regularly

Wash dishes, prep tools, and blenders throughout the shift

Keep service areas stocked with essential items (straws, napkins, takeaway packaging, tray liners)

About you

Previous experience in food & beverage, retail, or customer service is a plus, but entry-level candidates and students are welcome to apply (training provided)

Basic mental math and ability to handle cash/POS systems

Friendly personality and strong work ethic

Punctual and able to work well in a team environment

Able to stand for extended periods during shifts and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Able to work night shift (until 12am)
