F&B Server - All Day Dining Restaurant

The F&B Server is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. F&B Server position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. F&B Server anticipate and service guests needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials.

We are looking for an individual who possesses an affinity for service! This position requires an applicant with general food knowledge. Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform this position to Four Seasons Standards is required. In addition to discreetly clearing tables, the Server performs side work, polishes silverware, refills condiment containers and crumbs tables. The Server position requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs and applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can‑do approach to any task!

What You Will Do

• The ability to describe the selection of beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods, maintain food & menu knowledge for items offered in restaurant, bar or lounge communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the bartender using the hotel’s point-of-sales system, check completed orders with the guest’s original order, transport items to the guest table in a timely manner.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks process cash and credit card payments properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and drink stations.
• To directly implement and maintain the standards of service quality pertaining to his / her area of responsibility by providing the best possible service to our guests.
• Ensures that service / items are prepared according to hotel minimum standards and standard procedures.
• Checks cleanliness of the areas of the assign prior to and after service.
• Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest’s name consistently.
• Carry trays of food.
• Assist with the cleaning of operational areas.
• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
• Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Candidates must speak read and write Bahasa Malaysia as well and speak fluent English. Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
