Job summary

Private Advertiser in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking an F&B Outlet Assistant to manage cashier tasks, customer service and daily administrative matters of the outlet. You will assist in beverage preparation when the Barista is absent and help with inventory, bills, invoices, and licenses.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, taking orders, handling payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate transaction records while maintaining friendly service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B, cashier, retail or customer service is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Malay; basic English is an advantage.
• Friendly, responsible, honest and punctual.
• Able to handle cash and perform basic calculations.
• Have basic computer knowledge.
• Willing to learn beverage preparation.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS system and cashier accurately.
• Take customer orders and manage payments.
• Handle cash, QR and other payment methods.
• Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Complete daily cashier closing and report any cash discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints appropriately.
• Prepare beverages according to recipes and company SOP.
• Assist Barista/Drink Staff during busy times.
• Take over beverage preparation duties when drink staff are on leave or absent.
