The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in F&B or hospitality, knowledge of banquet procedures, good communication, and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude to thrive in busy events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in food & beverage, banquet or hospitality service roles.
• Knowledge of banquet procedures and service standards.
• Strong communication skills and professional guest interaction.
• Ability to stand for long periods and maintain presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet venues per event requirements.
• Provide professional and attentive food & beverage service to guests.
• Ensure tables, equipment and service areas are prepared and maintained.
• Assist with service during functions and events.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and service standards at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and deliver excellent customer service.
• Support Banquet team to ensure smooth event operations.

This is a full-time position based in Negeri Sembilan, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic banquet operations team. As an F&B Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and support during banquet events, ensuring every guest experiences outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. What you'll be doing

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet venues according to event requirements.
• Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service to guests.
• Ensure tables, equipment, and service areas are properly prepared and maintained.
• Assist with food and beverage service during functions and events.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Support the Banquet team to ensure smooth event operations.
• Comply with hotel policies, SOPs, and safety and hygiene requirements. Collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.

What we're looking for

• Experience in food and beverage, banquet or hospitality service roles (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and banquet procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to different event requirements
• Ability to work well as part of a team under pressure
