Job summary

B Optique Group SDN BHD, based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a motivated Optical Sales Advisor to join our team full-time, based in Subang Jaya or Ara Damansara. You will help customers select frames, lenses and optical solutions with personalised service and thoughtful consultation.

You will develop product knowledge, build customer relationships, and strive to meet store sales targets while delivering an outstanding in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and sales-oriented attitude.
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, optical retail or eyewear is an advantage.
• Willing to continuously learn about eyewear, lenses and optical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and understand their eyewear needs through thoughtful consultation and active listening.
• Recommend suitable frames, lenses, and optical solutions based on customers' lifestyle, visual needs, and personal preferences.
• Build strong product knowledge and confidently explain the benefits of different eyewear and lens options.
• Create a positive customer experience from the first conversation through to collection and after-sales service.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with customers through professional and personalised service.
• Identify sales opportunities and confidently guide customers towards suitable solutions.
• Work towards individual and store sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Process sales transactions accurately and maintain complete customer records.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, collections, enquiries and after-sales needs.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and work towards effective solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing retail environment.
• Stay updated on new products, promotions, pricing and industry knowledge.
• Work closely with team members to achieve store goals and deliver a consistently high standard of service.
