Job summary

A fast-growing food manufacturer in Shah Alam, Malaysia, seeks a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive to drive sales and establish business development opportunities in the medical IT sector. Candidates must have a diploma or degree in Business Administration or Marketing and possess 3-5 years of experience, ideally in the food industry. Excellent communication skills, proactiveness, and willingness to travel are essential. This role involves working closely with clients and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Sales Executive / Business Development Executive (Medical IT System)

Since 1982, we are an established frozen food manufacturer that is dynamic and fast growing. We provide one‑stop bakery solutions to airlines, hypermarkets, hotels, both local and global markets. Being HACCP, ISO 22000 and HALAL certified, we produce products from specially selected ingredients and fine recipes.

Responsibilities
  • Support the business to work in peak and low seasons and meet demand.
  • Establish yearly sales targets and achieve them.
  • Assist in establishing new business development opportunities.
  • Develop and support processes and procedures to support distribution and sales, ensuring the export chain is well connected.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage key relationships with clients or distribution partners abroad.
  • Gain support and trust with abroad partners, ensuring development is visible and measurable in the interest of the company.
  • Establish, reinforce, and enhance specific business terms such as suitable trading terms, account marketing activity, overall stock control.
  • Work with the Head of Department to achieve margin, control freight costs, and generate revenue opportunities.
  • Feedback on product performance.
  • Forecast and order consolidation.
  • Business Development Support: Work with R&D and procurement to design products for your market, with management and team to ensure product consolidation to maximize production capacity, and with ordering to arrange shipment order placement and scheduling.
  • Marketing Process: Work with designer for the A&P that supports your business, trade, and processes, and with team for marketing and events.
  • Deliveries of Reports: Weekly progress report, yearly target and breakdown, monthly product forecast, monthly report of plan target vs actual target achieved and gap.
Job Requirements
  • At least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or its equivalent.
  • Possess 3‑5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and self‑driven with multi‑tasking ability.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel, both local and overseas independently.
