Job summary

Malamin Sdn Bhd is seeking experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanics to join our team at the mining operation site in Bukit Kachi, Sintok, Kedah. You will inspect, service and repair heavy equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with excavators, shovels or similar machinery, a solid grasp of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and work both independently and in a team at a remote site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Heavy Machinery Mechanic.
• Hands-on experience with excavators, shovels or other heavy equipment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ensure all heavy equipment is in good working condition and safe for operation.
• Identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine-related issues.
• Prepare maintenance and breakdown reports.
• Assist with general maintenance and repair works at the mining site.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety requirements.
