Job summary

Roche in Malaysia is seeking a Travel & Expense Compliance Analyst who speaks Japanese to assess employee expense claims for compliance with policies and external regulations. The role is full-time in Petaling Jaya, requiring English and Japanese proficiency and strong analytical and teamwork skills.

You will document assessments in Concur, escalate issues with recommended resolutions to the RSS Line Manager, and help prepare reports and training materials.

Qualifications

• University degree or above in business, law or finance.
• More than 2 years’ experience in compliance reviews or its equivalent and its implementation in a highly regulated environment or in audit firms.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese.
• Strong analytical skills, be able to assess the facts with professional skepticism.
• Thinks out of the box, challenges the status quo and with excellent team work with strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess compliance of employee expense claims against policies and regulatory requirements.
• Document assessment results in Concur during claim processing.
• Escalate issues and recommend resolution plans to the RSS Line Manager.
• Support the preparation of reports and training material on a periodic basis to address updates to the compliance monitoring process.
• Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to improve compliance documentation and processes.
