Job summary

Lam Research International Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks an Expeditor to coordinate, route, and expedite materials to meet production schedules. You will monitor material flow between departments and perform SAP material movements to resolve issues.

The role requires a Diploma/SKM 4, strong English communication, and manufacturing experience. 12-hour shifts in a clean room with PPE are required.

Job description

As an Expeditor at Lam, you play an integral role in meeting production schedules. You'll coordinate, route, and expedite materials to address shortages. Your expertise extends to proper routing of incoming materials and monitoring the flow of materials between departments to meet scheduled commitments. Your contribution ensures smooth material handling, supporting Lam's commitment to operational excellence.

What you’ll do

Perform a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules

Execute material release for product launching for WO & Reservation

Perform system backflush for completed PM and troubleshooting in the system for any issues

Expedite parts to remedy material shortage problems, NCi, and etc.

Ensure incoming materials are properly routed

Monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to meet scheduled commitments

Perform SAP transaction for material movement

Resolve issues with the transactions

Expedite parts from WH to MFG Floor for urgent items

What you’ll do

Minimum SKM 4/Diploma in any Supply Chain / Logistics / Engineering / Computer Science / Business field

Able to read, write and verbal communication skills in English

Experience working in a Manufacturing environment

Able to work 12-hour shifts in fast paced and time-sensitive environment in the clean room wearing full PPE

Able to work in environment that require body movements in multiple positions

Use computer-based SAP data systems, applications, and Office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
