Job summary

Lam Research in Penang is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate, route and expedite materials to meet production schedules. You will ensure proper routing of incoming materials and monitor the flow of parts between departments to support on-time commitments.

Responsibilities include SAP material movement, release for product launches, and backflushing for completed work orders. This role requires compliance with PPE in a fast-paced clean room.

Qualifications

• Minimum SKM 4 or Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

The impact you'll make

At Lam, as an Expeditor, you play an integral role in meeting production schedules. You'll coordinate, route, and expedite materials to address shortages. Your expertise extends to proper routing of incoming materials and monitoring the flow of materials between departments to meet scheduled commitments. Your contribution ensures smooth material handling, supporting Lam's commitment to operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules.
• Execute material release for product launching for WO & Reservation.
• Perform system backflush for completed PM and troubleshooting in the system for any issues.
• Expedites parts to remedy material shortage problems, NCi, and etc.
• May ensure incoming materials are properly routed.
• May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to meet scheduled commitments.
• Perform SAP transaction for material movement
• Able to resolve issues with the transactions.
• Expedite parts from WH to MFG Floor for urgent items

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum SKM 4/Diploma in any Engineering and computer science field
• Able to read, write and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• Work 12-hour shifts in fast paced and time-sensitive environment in the clean room wearing full PPE.
• Able to work in environment that require body movements in multiple positions
• Use computer-based SAP data systems, applications, and Office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
