Summary
The Visual Merchandising Executive is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing visual display strategies that align with brand guidelines and drive sales performance. This role ensures that all in-store displays, layouts, and point-of-sale materials are executed effectively to enhance the customer shopping experience and strengthen brand presence.
Coordinate with store teams and vendors to ensure timely setup and dismantling of displays.
Maintain consistency in branding and visual standards across all store formats.
Support new store openings, refits, and remerchandising projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
Prepare display guidelines and layout plans based on store floor plans.
Conduct regular store visits to assess display quality, compliance, and maintenance needs.
Provide feedback, training, and guidance to store teams on VM execution and standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory display requirements where applicable.
Stay updated with retail trends and competitors’ displays to generate fresh ideas.
Oversee the installation of window displays, signage, and in-store product setups.
Manage POSM (Point of Sale Materials) inventory and distribution to stores.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to meet production and installation timelines.
Manage time effectively to prioritize multiple projects and meet all set deadlines.
Evaluate the impact of displays on sales and customer engagement.
Propose creative display concepts using new materials, lighting, and interactive elements.
Explore sustainable and cost-effective display solutions.
Provide ad hoc support to other departments such as Non-Trade Fulfilment and DC event support when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Business Management, or a related field.
Preferably 2 years of working experience in a merchandising or retail store.
Approachable, demonstrates team spirit, and can adapt to flexible working schedules.
Able to work as a team or independently.
Preferably possess own transport with VALID LICENSE (transport allowance will be provided - traveling allowance).
Willing to travel outstation and carry out night duties including weekends (allowance will be provided).
