Job summary

AirAsia Berhad is seeking a creative Video Editor to craft social content, digital ads, and branded campaigns for AirAsia MOVE. You will manage end-to-end production from ideation to delivery, using AI tools to elevate visuals and ensure brand consistency across 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 formats.

You will shoot events, handle basic production tasks, and deliver premium content with strong storytelling, pacing and sound design while collaborating with marketing and production teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

1–3+ years of professional video editing/content production experience.
Experience in advertising, social media, digital marketing, events, production or in-house creative team is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook and other digital platforms.
Create videos for social media, digital advertising, campaigns, promotions, events and brand communications.
Independently plan and shoot events, activations and social content from start to finish.
Handle basic production requirements including camera operation, framing, lighting, audio and shot planning.
Capture spontaneous and social-first content at events and activations with minimal supervision.
Turn briefs, scripts, raw footage, stock footage and creative concepts into engaging videos.
Manipulate and creatively edit stock footage to make it feel original, premium and aligned with the brand.
Have a strong eye for colour, visual consistency and cinematic finishing.
Perform colour correction and colour grading using DaVinci Resolve, ensuring footage looks polished and consistent across different cameras and sources.
Match the look and colour of stock footage, AI-generated footage and original footage so they feel like part of the same visual world.
Create strong hooks, pacing, transitions, sound design, subtitles, motion graphics and visual storytelling.
Use AI tools to support and enhance creative production, including AI video generation, image generation, VFX, voice generation and AI-assisted post-production.
Combine AI-generated assets with real footage and traditional editing techniques.
Adapt content into different formats and durations, including 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.
Keep up with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging social trends.
Work closely with creative, marketing, social media and production teams.
Manage multiple projects and deliver quality work within tight timelines.
Maintain organised footage, project files, AI assets and final exports.
Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming and concept development.
