Job Description:

A) Technical Delivery Planning and Coordination

  • Maintain the delivery plan, milestone schedule, task tracker, and action log for assigned technology projects, updating status, owners, dependencies, target dates, and key decisions based on input from the Head of Digital Platforms & Engineering, Engineering Leads, and initiative owners.
  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities across engineering, platform, architecture, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and vendor teams, including scheduling technical working sessions, capturing decisions, and following up on agreed actions.
  • Assist in translating approved technical scope into structured work breakdowns, delivery checklists, sprint or stage plans, acceptance criteria, and readiness criteria using templates or guidance provided by the Head of Digital Platforms & Engineering or Engineering Leads.
  • Track progress of engineering deliverables such as design documents, interface specifications, build completion, configuration items, data migration activities, and technical documentation, and follow up on items that are overdue or at risk.

B) Technical Dependency, Risk and Issue Tracking

  • Maintain the risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies register for assigned technology projects, recording owners, impact, mitigation actions, and target resolution dates.
  • Track cross-system and cross-team technical dependencies, including integrations, APIs, interfaces, data feeds, environments, infrastructure provisioning, licences, access requests, and security approvals, and follow up until they are resolved or escalated.
  • Prepare and maintain delivery status reports, milestone dashboards, steering committee materials, management updates, and governance packs for Digital Platforms & Engineering initiatives.
  • Escalate technical blockers, overdue dependencies, vendor delays, and delivery risks directly to the Head of Digital Platforms & Engineering with sufficient detail to support decision-making.

C) Testing, Release and Deployment Coordination

  • Coordinate test activities including SIT, UAT, and regression cycles by tracking test readiness, test schedules, environment availability, test data requests, execution progress, and sign-off status.
  • Maintain defect logs, track defect ageing and severity, and follow up with engineering teams, vendors, and business testers until closure or agreed deferral.
  • Support release and deployment readiness by maintaining cutover plans, deployment checklists, change requests, approval records, rollback documentation, and post-implementation review items.
  • Coordinate environment and access requests with Group IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams so that delivery activities are not delayed by environment or access constraints.

D) Vendor and Cross-functional Technical Coordination

  • Track vendor technical deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, evidence of completion, and outstanding obligations for assigned implementations.
  • Coordinate meetings, technical workshops, project rituals, and governance forums involving engineering teams, Group IT, architecture, cybersecurity, data, the Product Management Office, business users, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Risk, and external vendors.
  • Support issue clarification and information flow between engineering teams, vendors, and enabling functions to reduce delivery delays, including following up on open technical questions and pending responses.

E) Delivery Documentation and Audit Readiness

  • Maintain complete and structured project documentation, including charters, technical scope documents, solution and interface specifications, meeting minutes, decision logs, issue and action logs, RACI matrices, risk registers, test evidence, and deployment records.
  • Ensure version control, document naming, repository hygiene, and traceability of approvals and key technical decisions in Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or other approved platforms.
  • Support audit, governance, and cybersecurity readiness by ensuring delivery documents and approval evidence are complete, current, accessible, and aligned with internal standards and approved processes.

F) Financial, Procurement Tracking and Continuous Improvement

  • Support tracking of project budgets, OPEX/CAPEX utilisation, procurement status, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoices, licence renewals, and payment milestones for technology initiatives, and assist in maintaining resource and vendor capacity trackers.
  • Coordinate with initiative owners and Finance/Procurement focal points to ensure spend visibility, documentation completeness, and timely follow-up on pending items.
  • Help improve delivery templates, reporting cadence, tracking practices, and technical delivery documentation standards, and suggest practical improvements where documentation gaps, reporting inconsistencies, repeated follow-up issues, or process inefficiencies are observed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the evolving delivery, platform, and engineering needs of Digital Platforms & Engineering.

Education / Professional Qualification
