Syarikat Ong Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Tax Advisory professional with 2–3 years of experience to provide comprehensive tax advisory services on business transactions, investment structure planning, incentive applications, and inbound/outbound advisory.

You will liaise with local tax authorities, oversee tax audits, stay updated on tax regulation changes, help develop tax strategies for mergers or cross-border operations, and mentor junior staff while supporting business growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of tax advisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax advisory services on tax implications for business transactions, investment structure planning, incentive applications, inbound/outbound investment advisory and new ventures.
• Act as liaison with local tax authorities, manage tax audits and investigations, prepare responses, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely resolution.
• Stay updated on local and international tax regulations and issues, providing timely insights to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions, minimize liabilities, and support decisions on mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border operations.
• Identify client needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive growth while fostering client relationships.
• Lead, train, and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and promoting knowledge sharing.

1. Provide comprehensive tax advisory services on tax implications for business transactions, investment structure planning, incentive applications, inbound/outbound investment advisory and new business ventures

2. Act as the key liaison with local tax authorities, managing all aspects of tax audits and investigations. This includes preparing and reviewing responses, negotiating settlements, and ensuring timely and effective resolution.

3. Stay updated on the latest changes in local and international tax regulations, policies, and industry developments. Provide timely insights on the potential impact to clients or the business, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.

4. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and manage risks. Support decision-making for mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border business operations.

5. Contribute to new business development by identifying client-specific needs, providing tailored solutions, and offering strategic problem-solving to drive growth and foster lasting client relationships.

6. Take an active leadership role in training, mentoring, and developing junior staff. Provide technical guidance, promote knowledge sharing, and support the overall growth of the advisory team

7. Support additional projects and duties as assigned from time to time.
