L'Occitane en Provence Malaysia invites a dynamic Visual Merchandiser to join the team for a 6-month contract. You will manage all visual merchandising activities across multi-brand stores, aligning with Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations and Training, and reporting to the VM Manager.
Responsibilities include adhering to global and APAC guidelines, executing planograms, coordinating displays, and supporting store renovations or launches with precision and timely execution.

Job SummaryHandle all aspects of Visual Merchandising for multi-brands
Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Retail Operations, and Training department and report directly to the Manager
Understand visual merchandising guidelines and ensure all stores are always in compliance: visuals, display elements, testers, and other merchandising elements.
Understand marketing calendars and ensure all new launches or initiatives for the period follow visual merchandising guidelines.
Prepare & assist in any roadshow or events set up.
Assist in end-to-end preparation of counter / backwall opening, renovation & closure (which includes data collection for Principal’s approval)
Adhere & ensure all visual merchandising elements on new launches / monthly initiatives, following Principal Globalor APAC’sguidelines.
In all stores, ensure timely ordering and correct display of all merchandising elements for new launches / monthly initiatives, according to Principal Global guidelines.
Manage the store design, product’s planogram (full size for sell products, testers).
Understand guidelines from Principal (e.g. trade animation, store visuals, store displays,store designs) and implement these locally.
Follow up production, delivery and re-order of visual merchandising comms materials developed by Principal Global guideline.
Assist in liaising between Principal, production vendor, and retailer’s PIC in developing design related with counter / event’s fixtures.
Planograms– able to work on the local adaptation of planograms or designs for local implementations.
Assist in preparing products planograms on new launches / monthly initiatives, following guidelines from Principal- for local adaptation.
Monitoring of planogram to ensure it aligns with the most recent SKU configurations
VisualsUnderstand Principal guidelines on store visuals and place the correct orders accordingly.
Ensure all stores are displaying the correct visuals during the right period.
Renovation Construction and Maintenance WorksAssist in existing outlet renovation construction and maintenance works in accordance with the Management’s planning / schedule and requirements.
To ensure the maintenance work is carried out in every outlet, lighting, furniture, plumping and etc must be always in good condition.
Submission of VM-related reportsAssist in compilation for report submission after each new VM launch.
Assist new counter’s installation report submission.
Assist VM manager in budget planning.
Conduct regular store visits to ensure all VM guidelines are correctly adhered.
Assist in stores maintenance: compiling maintenance’s list, gather quotation from vendors, and monitor maintenance execution.
Assist in props ordering- global/ regional/ local production.
Possess a degree in design, marketing or any related experience.
Familiar with graphic design, or industrial design, or exhibition design, or interior design.
Experience in visual merchandising for retail boutiques is an added advantage.
Good understanding on Microsoft Excel & Power Point
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or SketchUp Proficiency
