Berjaya Corporation Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive to coordinate, plan, and support sustainability reporting and decarbonization for the group. You will develop strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, monitor ESG metrics, and help prepare reports in line with standards such as GRI and IFRS.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field, and 2+ years in sustainability or a related role.

• 2+ years of experience in sustainability or related role.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The suitable candidate will co-ordinate, plan and support sustainability reporting and decarbonization for the Berjaya Group to ensure that it achieves its short term and long term goals.

Job Description

Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and programs in line with corporate goals.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives.

Monitor and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

Conduct research and stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.

Coordinate sustainability awareness programs, workshops, and campaigns.

Assist in preparing sustainability reports, including compliance with specific standards, e.g. National Sustainability Reporting Framework, GRI, IFRS.

Support the organization's carbon reduction and energy efficiency goals

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in sustainability or a related role (preferred but not mandatory)

Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.,

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
