Job summary

Sunway Pyramid is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive to oversee design and fit-out services for mall outlets. You will comment and review tenant concept submissions, provide design directions and store planning advice to tenants and their designers.

You will coordinate hands-on fit-out works with tenant teams, conduct regular site visits, inspect upon completion, and liaise with Leasing and Technical teams as well as external architects and M&E consultants to ensure approvals and landlord

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Exposure to current design trends preferably in retail or commercial designs.
• Possess creative aptitude and proficiency in design software and tools.
• Competent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu; knowledge of Chinese/Tamil is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage several design & fit-out projects simultaneously.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Comment and review tenant concept design submissions for their outlets.

• Regularly update mall master plan, tenancy plans and landlord provision schedules.
• Prepare study plans and related drawings based on leasing requests.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports on fit-out projects to mall management.

Performs hands-on fit-out coordination works with the tenant’s fit-out team.

Regular site visits to monitor and verify that all works are done in accordance with approved submissions and compliance with mall regulations.

Set & perform inspection with tenant and superior upon completion of each project prior to business commencements

Coordination between internal departments (Leasing Team, Technical Team) & external parties ( Architect, M&E consultant) to ensure all necessary landlord provisions and tenant’s requests and issues are resolved.

Regularly update on mall master plan, tenancy plans, and landlord provision schedule, ensure the info is accurate & up to date.

To prepare study plan and related drawing based on leasing request.

Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of fit-out projects, including any challenges, delays, and resolutions to mall management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Exposure to current design trends preferably in retail or commercial designs.

Possess creative aptitude and proficiency in design software and tools.
