Job summary

Allianz Malaysia invites applicants to join our health claims processing team in Kuala Lumpur. You will review and process medical claims within policy guidelines and ensure payments are issued within the required turnaround time.

Ideal candidates include fresh graduates or professionals with 2–3 years in healthcare claims, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in medical or health science required.
• Fresh graduate or 2–3 years in healthcare/ medical claims preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with customer-centric mindset.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process health/medical claims for reimbursement within policy guidelines and authority limit.
• Manage day-to-day operations for guarantee facilities (hospital admission and discharge).
• Ensure claim settlements and payments meet turnaround times and service standards.
• Support Helpline with inquiries on medical reimbursement.
• Respond to customer inquiries on claim reimbursement matters promptly.
• Cover for other team members as required.
• Participate in projects to improve department efficiency and productivity.

This role is to process and review all medical/ health claims within specified authority limit and ensure that payments are made within the turnaround time (TAT)

You’ll be responsible for:

• To assess and process all health/ medical claim for reimbursement in line with policy guidelines within authority limit
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations for guarantee facilities (hospital admission and discharge)
• To be responsible for claim settlement and ensure payments are process within the agreed turnaround time and service standard
• To support Helpline team with enquiries pertaining to medical reimbursement
• To response to customer’s enquiries on claim reimbursement matters in a timely manner
• Assume the responsibilities of other team members as and when requires
• Participate in project initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity of the department

Important to your success:

• Diploma/ Degree in any medical or health science related field of study
• Fresh graduate or Candidate with 2 - 3 years working experience in healthcare related industry and/or knowledge in medical/ health claims
• Possess good communication skill and good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Meticulous and attention to details
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Result-oriented with sense of urgency towards True Customer Centricity
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team to deliver Allianz’s enhanced customer experience journey
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.
