Job description

• To design and develop new product and processes
• To seek suitable raw materials and packaging materials for product development
• To work on material planning
• To arrange sample as per sales or customer request
• To conduct periodic product analysis, sensory evaluation, shelf life test & optimization study when needed
• To update documents such as specification in accordance to food standard
• To arrange and conduct production trial run at factory
• To participate in creating, launching / implementing new products
• To participate in benchmarking and testing competitive produces to gain relevant information
• To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent
• At least 1 or 2 years working experience in food industry.
• Able to work independently, passion and creative towards product development
• Able to communicate effectively and possess basic computer knowledge
• Possess own transport, willing to travel when needed.
