Job summary

McBride Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC leader to drive quality assurance across incoming materials, batch release support, and continuous improvement. The role will lead the QA/QC/Regulatory team, maintain GMP compliance, and coordinate training and documentation to ensure robust quality systems.

You will oversee internal audits (GMP, ISO, BRCGS, RSPO), supplier qualification, CAPA investigations, and quality agreements, reporting to the QA Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in QA/QC or regulatory roles in the related industry.
• Ability to lead QA/QC/Regulatory teams.
• Experience with GMP, ISO, BRCGS, RSPO or similar standards.

Job description

Review incoming material quality trends, support supplier quality follow-up, and ensure incoming material issues are properly documented and escalated.

Coordinate and maintain QA-related training records, support GMP and quality system awareness training, and verify completion of assigned training.

Review batch documentation, quality records, and compliance checks to support product release decisions by authorized personnel.

Prepare, review, update, and control QA procedures, quality manuals, forms, specifications, and quality system documents.

Maintain QA documentation systems, audit evidence, controlled documents, quality records, and GMP compliance records.

Assist in investigations on deviations and non-conformances, propose corrective and preventive actions, ensure root cause analysis is completed, and track CAPA effectiveness.

Assist customer complaint investigations and monitor complaint trends.

Plan, coordinate, conduct, and report internal audits for GMP, ISO, BRCGS, RSPO, and other applicable quality systems.

Support supplier qualification, supplier performance monitoring, audit preparation, customer audit responses, and quality agreement follow-up.

Support implementation and maintenance of GMP, ISO, BRCGS, Halal, RSPO, customer, legal, and regulatory quality requirements.

Ensure QA activities comply with company health, safety, hygiene, and GMP requirements, and highlight any unsafe or non-compliant practices.

Coordinate QA activities across departments, guide relevant personnel on QA requirements, support continuous improvement project and elevate compliance risks to QA Manager.

Prepare QA reports, audit summaries, CAPA status, complaint trends, quality performance data, and improvement recommendations.

Any other duties or responsibilities that commensurate with your position, as that maybe assigned from time to time by the management.

Technical Competencies & Qualifications :

Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field

More than 5 years’ experience working in similar or related industry
