Job summary

Credit Bureau Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Planner to plan and purchase parts for HQ and branches, and to liaise with principals and suppliers on delivery dates and urgent shipments.

The role focuses on stock management, analysis of stock movement, ABC classification, and cost-saving sourcing, with reporting responsibilities and data cleanliness in the system.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Economics or Supply Chain Management.
• 1-2 years in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Planning or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase parts for HQ and branches.
• Coordinate with principals/suppliers on delivery dates and expedite urgent shipments.
• Liaise on parts-related issues including quality, shortages, overage, and price discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Shipping to arrange overseas shipments.
• Manage stock to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Analyse stock movements and classify ABC items.
• Source alternate parts for cost savings and supply continuity.
• Determine selling prices for parts.
• Manage obsolete/ ageing stock with Product Heads, Service teams and branches.
• Prepare reports as assigned.
• Maintain data cleanliness in the system.

• Follow up with principals / suppliers ondelivery date, shipment and expedite delivery for urgent shipment
• Liaise with principals / suppliers on partsrelated issues – quality issue, short shipped, over shipped, wrong supply,price discrepancy, etc
• Liaise with Shipping Department to bring inoversea shipment
• Manage stock to prevent stockouts andoverstocking
• Analyse stock movement for parts, classify ABC
• Source alternate parts for cost saving andsupply continuity
• Work out Selling Price for parts
• Manage obsolete / ageing stock. Work withProduct Heads, Service team, branches to clear obsolete / ageing stock
• Prepare reports as assigned
• Maintain data cleanliness in system

Requirements

Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Business Management, Economics, SupplyChain Management

Experience:
