Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Proposal Executive to support the Business Development team by preparing and coordinating proposal submissions, tender documents, and related business materials for oil & gas projects. The role ensures timely, accurate, and competitive proposals that align with client requirements and company objectives.

The Proposal Executive collaborates with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, HR, and HSE to gather input, compile cost estimates, and produce commercial offers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in proposals/tendering, preferably in oil & gas (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
• Familiarity with oil & gas tendering process and contract requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems or MS Project is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, and ITBs for scope and requirements.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, pre-qualification documents, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, HR, HSE) to gather input for proposals.
• Compile cost estimates, pricing, and commercial offers in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure proposals comply with client specifications, deadlines, and industry standards.
• Maintain a database of proposals, templates, and client requirements.
• Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Support Business Development team during client meetings, clarifications, and presentations.
