Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Proposal Manager specializing in the oil & gas industry. The successful candidate will lead the bidding processes, analyze project requirements, and prepare comprehensive proposals. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in tendering projects. This role offers a competitive salary package ranging from RM 13,000 to RM 16,000 and is pivotal for managing strategic proposals in a dynamic industry.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant experience in bidding/tendering projects in the oil & gas industry.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal works including costing and RFQ issuance.
  • Ability to analyze tender requirements and prepare submission documents.

About the job Proposal Manager (Oil & Gas)

Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

RM 13,000.00 - 16,000.00 (Malaysian Ringgit)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, E&I, Material and equivalent) with approximately 5 years of relevant working experience in bidding/tendering projects particularly in oil & gas industry.
  • Experienced in water treatment / produced water process skid.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Project, Xiat Porter and preferably some knowledge on Hysys)
  • Ability to analyze information, interpret information and identify key points of the tender/proposal requirement.
  • Hands-on experience with proposals works: costing, RFQ issuance, expediting & review, price triangulation, preparation of submission documents including technical and commercial proposals.
  • Have worked with economic modelling.
  • Understand commercial terms, and associated cost / schedule impacts.
  • Understand how to plan and optimize project execution and project schedule.
  • Have experience in handling different contracting strategies.
