To support the Group’s ongoing efforts to expand digitalisation and technology-driven solutions within plantation operations, particularly through Agriculture Technology (AgTech) innovations and initiatives. These positions provide dedicated execution capacity to support the implementation, monitoring, and adoption of digital systems and operational technologies across company group estates, ensuring that innovations are effectively translated into on-ground usage, performance improvement, and reliable management data.

The roles are to facilitate cross-department coordination, conducting site-based assessments, resolving implementation issues, and maintaining accurate data inputs for analytics and reporting platforms, while providing field support, performance monitoring, data management, and communication bridging between estates, the Advisory Unit, AgTech and other related departments across the company operation group.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Field Implementation Support

Conduct site visits according to assigned estate coverage on a follow up.

Support implementation of AgTech and IT Department projects.

Coordinate with AgTech & IT Dept regarding any field technical issues.

Ensure proper hands-on, operation standards, and safety compliance.

Performance Monitoring

Assist in developing the standardized site visit parameter assessment format.

Monitor operational KPIs at estate level.

Update collected data into the standardized ESG database.

Data Management

Ensure accurate and timely input into data monitoring system.

Validate data quality and follow the operation requirement.

Training & Capacity Building

Assist in conducting refresher training for operating unit team.

Provide guidance and field demos to the operation of specific tasks.

Communication & Reporting

Maintain regular communication with Estate Managers/Assistants and stakeholders.

Prepare weekly updates to Manager.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and project-level reports.

Log all issues, feedback, and progress updates.

SOP Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Use GPA standard SOPs during all operations.

Provide feedback to Manager to improve templates, workflows, and processes.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Plantation Management/ Agronomy/ Information Technology or a related field.

Strong experience in plantation and/or field operations, AgTech implementation and digital systems support.

Ability to conduct site visits, follow up on implementation issues and provide on-ground support.

Good problem-solving skills with a practical, hands‑on approach.

Detail‑oriented, especially in data accuracy and reporting.

Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments across different estates.

Willingness to travel frequently to estates and operational sites.

Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
