Jora Malaysia is seeking an operations professional to manage discharge and loading figures, coordinate vessel husbandry, and ensure timely submission of operational data. You will liaise with port authorities and central planners to support efficient vessel turnaround and berth management.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or SCM and at least 1 year in shipping/marine operations, with strong organizational and communication skills and flexibility for after-hours work.

Prepare and submit discharge and loading figures (bay plan & profile) to the port based on central planner’s approval.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all operational data to relevant parties.
Coordinate vessel husbandry services including provision supply and other related operational activities.
Arrange and monitor freshwater supply for company-owned vessels.
Liaise with relevant service providers to ensure smooth vessel turnaround.
Serve as the communication point between the terminal and central planner for ship planning matters.
Ensure planning instructions are followed and updated promptly.
Collect and monitor cargo booking forecasts from member lines.
Consolidate and send forecasts to the central planner for company-owned vessels.
Highlight significant variances or potential operational impacts.
Monitor vessel arrival schedules and update the terminal and vessel master on berth availability and changes.
Ensure timely communication to minimize operational delays.
Coordinate EBP EDI files to and from the terminal for company-owned vessels.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission to support efficient terminal operations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in operations within the shipping/marine industry.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Flexible to handle operational issues beyond regular hours and during holidays.
Experience in terminal, vessel, or depot operations is an advantage.
