Job summary

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad, Malaysia, seeks an External Collections Officer to oversee External Collection Agencies, monitor targets, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will handle administration tasks and coordinate with agencies to drive timely collections.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, audit readiness, and timely inquiries handling, with responsibilities spanning daily to monthly targets and support for management. Diploma/degree + 1–2 years in collections preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM / STPM / Diploma or Degree holder or professional qualification in relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience in collection in general or any related field.
• Relevant exposures and knowledge of credit management or operations of banking / financial institutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• To adhere with company’s internal policies and guidelines as well as BNM and any regulatory requirements by Malaysian laws.
• Responsible in monitoring ECA’s assigned target given - daily / weekly / monthly and delivery satisfactory collection result.
• To conduct ECA’s visitation, ensure to adhere visitation guideline and collecting relevant documents (supporting document) to be presented/highlight to Management over adverse discrepancies noted / audit findings.
• To served and practice excellent customer service and maintain/establish good relationship with clients.
• To attend ECA’s and customers’ enquiry/complaints via telephone and walk-in customer within stipulated standard turnaround time (TAT).
• Responsible over monthly or by Multiple Due Date (MDD) cycles of file assignment and special arrangement accordingly to job scope.
• To assist Team Leader / Unit Head on administration matter or any relevant task list request by Management.
