Job summary

Lembaga Zakat Selangor is seeking an experienced Executive IT Enterprise Architect to lead the design and management of cloud infrastructure and enterprise API solutions in Malaysia. The role centers on AWS architecture, API governance, security, and ensuring technology standards align with organisational policies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable enterprise services while upholding governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in integration of architecture roles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Work cross-functionally across the organization to meet Division deliverables and objectives.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Kafka).
• Experience with integration platforms/tools (SAP Data Services, AWS AppSync, Jitterbit, Azure Logic Apps).
• Proficiency in API design management (AWS API Gateway).
• Familiar with cloud platform (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.

• Develop architecture standards, principles, and technology roadmaps.
• Design and govern AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Load Balancers, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and security services.
• Design and manage enterprise API architecture using API Gateway solutions.
• Define API governance, security, lifecycle management, versioning, and integration standards.
• Review and approve solution architectures to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise architecture for AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop architecture standards, principles, and technology roadmaps.
• Design and govern AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Load Balancers, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and security services.
• Design and manage enterprise API architecture using API Gateway solutions (e.g., Amazon API Gateway, Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management).
• Define API governance, security, lifecycle management, versioning, and integration standards.
• Review and approve solution architectures to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture and cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Good understanding of API architecture, API gateways, and integration patterns.
• Experience in cloud security, networking, governance, and architecture standards.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant AWS or cloud architecture certifications are preferred.
• Professional certifications in API management, enterprise architecture, or security are an advantage.

Technical Skills

• AWS: EC2, VPC, EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, WAF, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect.
• API Platforms: Amazon API Gateway, Kong, Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management.
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Networking, Load Balancer, VPN.
• Automation: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CI/CD tools.
• Integration: REST API, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.

Minimum Qualification :

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional is an advantage.
