Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company in Malaysia seeks a Customer Service Executive – Inventory to manage distributor inventory and replenishment, ensuring optimal stock availability and uninterrupted product supply.

You will work with Commercial, Planning, Logistics and distributor partners to optimise inventory performance, support growth, and deliver excellent service through effective planning and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations).
• 2–5 years in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Operations, Demand Planning or Logistics.
• Experience in inventory planning, replenishment, stock allocation and optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor distributor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.
• Develop replenishment plans based on demand forecasts and inventory targets.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and distributors to ensure smooth inventory flow.
• Analyse inventory trends, identify supply risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage stock allocation and balancing during constrained periods while maintaining service levels.
• Prepare inventory reports, dashboards and performance analyses for decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement to inventory management and replenishment efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, and internal controls.

About The Role

As a Customer Service Executive – Inventory, you will be responsible for managing distributor inventory and replenishment activities to ensure optimal stock availability and uninterrupted product supply. You will work closely with Commercial, Planning, Logistics, and distributor partners to optimise inventory performance, support business growth, and deliver excellent customer service through effective inventory planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor distributor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, product freshness, and inventory accuracy.
• Develop and execute replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, inventory targets, and business priorities.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and distributors to ensure seamless inventory flow.
• Analyse inventory trends, identify supply risks, and recommend corrective actions to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Manage stock allocation and inventory balancing during supply-constrained periods while maintaining service levels.
• Prepare inventory reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to support business decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management processes, replenishment efficiency, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal controls, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Operations, Demand Planning, Logistics, or related functions.
• Experience in inventory planning, replenishment, stock allocation, and inventory optimisation within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret inventory data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external distributors to achieve inventory and service level targets.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other reporting or analytics tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in FMCG, beverage, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or distribution industries is highly preferred.
