Job summary

NTT DATA SERVICES MALAYSIA SND. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate Billing Operations Analyst to support data accuracy in the billing process and to audit data sets extracted from the billing system.

You will implement and report on billing activities, assist with financial and statistical reports, and collaborate with internal teams to drive process improvements in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
• Moderate experience auditing processes, financial information and systems.
• Experience working with MS Excel and MS Word; familiarity with SQL is a plus.

Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Associate Billing Operations Analyst is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting with analyzing the accuracy of data related to the billing process.

This role is responsible for auditing data sets extracted from the billing system and is accountable for optimizing, implementing and reporting on all billing activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Contributes to the implementation billing operations to maximize effectiveness and accuracy.
• Contributes to the improvement to the billing operations processes and procedures and implements approved recommendations.
• Reconciles financial information, files and records to ensure the availability and accuracy of the information.
• Implements written policies and procedures that govern billing operations.
• Proactively supports the implementation of new billing systems and/or integration of changes to existing billing system.
• Assisting with preparing financial and statistical reports and validates billing transactions on the billing system.
• Investigates and analyzes any collection matters raised by management.
• Proactively processes new billing files and failed billing files.
• Coordinates with various internal groups and resolves all current issues and documents all billing system enhancement requests.
• Proactively supports continuous process improvement projects related to billing controls, quality and efficiency, and automation opportunities.
• Ensures all operational reconciliation and audit control processes are complete, managing any errors through to resolution.
• Performs any other relevant billing operations task as requested by management.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting or related

Required experience:

• Moderate level of demonstrated experience as a Billing Systems Analyst, Billing Operations Practitioner or Specialist
• Moderate level of demonstrated experience working with internal and external stakeholders
• Moderate level of demonstrated experience auditing processes, financial information and systems
• Moderate level of demonstrated experience working with the MS Office Suite, including MS Excel and MS Word
• Moderate level of hands‑on billing application knowledge and experience
• Moderate level of demonstrated experience with tools such as SQL
