Job summary

Zohorecruit in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia is seeking a General Manager - Manufacturing (Automation / OEM / Engineering) to lead the business with full P&L accountability, drive revenue growth and operational excellence across automation, OEM manufacturing and engineering projects.

You will oversee end-to-end engineering, turnkey project delivery, and cross-functional teams while building strong relationships with customers and key partners to sustain long-term business success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in industrial automation, OEM manufacturing, or project-based businesses.
• Proven experience managing P&L, operations and large engineering or manufacturing teams.
• Strong exposure to automation solutions, turnkey projects, OEM sales and regional management.
• Commercially driven leader with stakeholder management, strategic planning and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall business with full P&L accountability, driving revenue growth, profitability and operational excellence.
• Develop business strategies and expand key accounts across automation, OEM, manufacturing and project-based industries.
• Oversee end-to-end engineering and turnkey project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational improvements across manufacturing, supply chain, project delivery and service operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPCs, OEM partners and key stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Projects and Service while developing future leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement, business transformation and strategic growth initiatives.
