Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Business Unit General Manager (Malaysia) in Kuala Lumpur. The role leads a multi-disciplinary M&E business unit, shaping strategy, driving performance and ensuring effective risk and resource management across projects and clients in Malaysia and Singapore.

Qualifications

Solid leadership experience in M&E engineering, construction or services management.
Proven ability to manage a business unit or large portfolio of projects.
Strong focus on safety, people development and risk management.

Responsibilities

Define 3–5 year strategic plan and yearly action plan for the Business Unit.
Drive safety culture and zero accidents across employees, temporary staff and subcontractors.
Develop environmental roadmap and ensure compliance training and reporting.
Lead recruitment, succession planning and annual performance reviews; promote inclusive culture.
Build commercial strategy, manage tenders, drive new business and ensure on-price, on-time delivery.
