Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Field Sales to supervise and coordinate sales teams across assigned business areas and territories in Malaysia, driving strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets. You will implement sales strategies, support route planning, and ensure high field performance.

The role requires a Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing, 2–3 years FMCG sales experience, and fluency in the local language plus English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Business Administration, Marketing Studies, or a relevant educational background
• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of territory, products and customers with proven selling skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluency in local language and English

Responsibilities

• Support management of day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets
• Prepare and implement sales action plans including route planning and regular customer calls/visits
• Track team progress against KPIs and sales plans
• Provide timely feedback to team members on execution and development areas
• Execute sales activities for territories including product portfolio management and merchandising
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts to close sales
• Monitor competitor activities and produce reports with actionable recommendations
• Prepare sales reports and forecast margins; flag unusual demand fluctuations
• Coordinate improvements to sales processes and customer satisfaction; ensure timely payments
• Investigate, resolve and log customer issues while maintaining relationships
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery
• Guide and support the team to achieve shared goals
• Drive learning and development in Field Sales practices and DKSH values
• Handle administrative duties as required
