Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced driver to transport Directors and authorised personnel safely and professionally. You will ensure timely pickups, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report defects or maintenance issues promptly.

The role requires staying informed on routes, using Waze/Google Maps, and maintaining records of mileage and fuel. You must be prepared for overtime, weekends, and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Malaysian Class D driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience, preferably as a company or personal driver.
• Familiar with Klang Valley and surrounding areas, with good knowledge of alternative routes.
• Able to use navigation and relevant mobile applications such as Waze and Google Maps.
• Punctual, responsible, trustworthy and safety-conscious.
• Physically fit and in good health.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
• Willing to work overtime at short notice, including weekends and Public Holidays.
• Willing to travel outstation when required.
• Preferably a non-smoker.
• Must have no major traffic offences or outstanding traffic/parking summons, with a clean driving record for the past five (5) years.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Company’s Directors and other authorised personnel safely and professionally as required.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to the scheduled itinerary.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance and overall condition of company vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects, damage or maintenance issues.
• Arrange and send vehicles for scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs as required.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, servicing and maintenance.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety requirements and company policies at all times.
• Assist with the office delivery and collection of documents, parcels and other company-related errands as assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling matters involving Directors and the Company.
• Be contactable at all times for emergencies and be prepared to work overtime, including weekends and Public Holidays, when required.
• Be willing to travel outstation occasionally.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.
